for RocknRecipes

This is the recipe that is up for an award:

and here's two new recipes for you to try:

Left-over Grilled Chicken Casserole
An original recipe by Mary Ann Pedie Crow

1 box of stuffing mix
3 grilled chicken breasts, fully cooked and chopped into bite-sized pieces
one can cream of mushroom soup
two soup cans of milk
one can drained mushrooms
two cups of cooked baby carrots
(8 minutes in the microwave in 2 Tablespoons of water with lid on top of a microwavable bowl)
salt & pepper to taste

spray bottom of 8x11 baking dish with Pam
add chicken, carrots, mushrooms, stuffing mix, drop spoons full of soup on top, pour milk over all, add salt and pepper to taste and bake for forty minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit
serves 6-8

cranberry sauce and pickles would be nice sides

Rodger's ice cream treat for kids
an original recipe from Rodger-James Alexander Crow

My son is a budding cook and wanted to share his 'recipe' for a fabulous ice cream treat that will save you $$
(Isn't it amazing that DQ charges about $3.00 for one cone and $5.00+ for larger treats?
You can buy one pint of ice cream for $2.50 on sale in the grocery store!)

one pint of moose tracks ice cream from Kemp's
one ice cream cone of your choice
two of your favorite cookies, i.e. "Piroulene" in chocolate hazelnut from Dollar Tree

scoop one or two scoops of ice cream into your cone
and place two of your favorite cookies on top
and enjoy!

(Now you might be able to feed the neighborhood kids this summer :-)

We keep constantly refilling the garage refrigerator with KoolAid, juice boxes and fruit cups, too...

Please remember to vote for RocknRecipes on www.lambaround.blogspot.com - thank you!

  1. I voted for you!
And thank you, Rodger, for your recipe. I'll remember that when my grandkids come to visit.

  2. Thank you very much, Linda! I'll be sure to tell my son that his 'recipe' is going to be used - he'll be thrilled!
